Can Int'l CH Katoba's Emerald Jam CGC, RN, CGN

When I first met Michelle & Ed, I knew I had been blessed with a great home for one of my boys ... even though the Becker's were "cat people" at the time. :)
As time went on, it was decided they would get "navy collar boy" - one of my "heart-puppies" from the beginning.
I fell in love with this boys head on day four ~ he now has perfect planes, a true stop, great bite, masculine and is all boy in appearance.
Ed named him "Vedder" ... after 'Eddie Vedder" of the band,"Pearl Jam", (hence, "Katoba's Emerald Jam").
Vedder is bred to correct size, short backed, muscular, focused & determined, athletic.
His gentle demeanor is one to behold ... Vedder and the cats, (gorgeous siamese), live together in peace ...
... the kitties have their own room in "Palace Becker".
Ed is very dilligent in studying and feeding the RAW diet, and Michelle routines the morning walk & exercise.
Ed & Michellle are competitive people, and with continued obedience training they provide him, they will be successful in the performance venues.
Ed & Vedder entered the Rally ring in January 2009 and took a Qualifying score of 92 for their first Novice leg ...
... and in just two more shows, garnered the title of Rally Novice - without having ever trained for this sport.
At just 11 months, Vedder earned his IABCA Championship and passed his CGC the same weekend.
By 20 months, he needed just one point to finish his CKC Championship ~ having been awarded Multiple "Bests" ~
~ Best of Opposite Sex, Best of Winners, Best of Breed ... and the Spring 2008 BC Doberman Pinscher Club Specialty Winners Dog honor.
After taking a 7 months break from the show ring, (scheduling difficulties), he returned to finish his CKC Championship within his first 10 minutes in the ring.
That same day, he became a Certified Canine Good Neighbor, having passed the structured evaluation.
Vedder's mom, Michelle, has recently begun training with Vedder as a Therapy Dog; his dad, Ed will be training him for competitive obedience competition.
This team will be very successful and are sure to have a good time as Vedder learns more and obtains the honors coming to him!
This is an amazing boy & the Becker's are amazing people ... I am so happy with this family!
