| This is truly a magnificent dog. Fun to be around and wonderful to look at. Agile, strong, focused ... Preacher is a tride & true athlete. In the show ring ... he was my first bred CH, my first multiple Best in Show puppy & won many Best Bred By Exhibitor awards. He was the first dog I took to my first DPCA Nationals, where he placed BOTH days ... as a puppy, from the Bred By class ... under respected breeder judges, Mr. Adrian Woodfork & Mr. George Murray. Preacher adorned my home with many rosettes, prizes, abundant pieces of crystal, and tears of JOY ... he made me a VERY proud mama. When Preacher came of age to show his male dominance, I knew he needed to be King of his own castle. Around the same time, sadly, Preacher's sire died at a young age from a struggle with cardiac disease. I had difficult decisions to make. When Preachers sires sibling(s) also became afflicted, I knew he would never be used as a stud dog an deserved to be placed in his forever home. Instead of holding him back from placement to finish his AKC championship, I chose to neuter him, and asked that all the males in that litter be neutered. That request didn't set well with one of the owners, but as the breeder, I believe it was the right thing to do. All but that one dog in the litter have been neutered now ~ I greatly appreciate these responsible owners. Due to health issues of their own, Preacher's originally chosen family were unable to take him now, and the job of choosing of a new home for Preacher was going to be hard for me ~ I felt no one would love him as much as I do. After weeks of taking calls and considering all things, I placed Preacher with Ms. Janette Ronquillo. She had set goals to train & compete in obedience with The Preacherman; she lived with her fiance' and they were an active couple who seemed to have the life logistics covered, wanted to add to their household, and Janette seemed to have genuine intent to do the best thing for Preacher in keeping his body & mind active and forever learning. I felt it would be a great place for Preacher to live out his potential ... so long as Janette followed through with her intentions; and if both she & Scott followed my guidance in raising such a true & total Doberman. I will show Preacher in the conformation ring again when he is a Veteran ... where I am sure he will exude the same brilliance & CHARISMA that he had as a youngster. In the meantime, we now rely on Janette and her commitment to training & competing to see Preacher truly exude his greatness. Preacher is a driven and formidable boy ... with potential that should not be wasted. He is truly worthy of the respect, the training & fun, and the honors ... he is capable of greatness. Finished AKC Conformation Champion or not ... Preacher is my first personal "success story". |

| Ahhhhh, "The Preacherman"... where do I begin ? This dog climbed into our hearts and decided to leave indelible paw prints ... exuding a special "presence" since birth. He is handsome and charming ... silly and affectionate ... stoic and proud. He's a Multi Champion in the conformation ring; a casanova with the ladies and a football buddies with the gents ... is driven as a personal protection dog, ; and soon he begins his quest to achieve in the obedience venues. He lives as the King of his Castle, with Scott and Janette his 'loyal servants' :) AND, now, Sonya ... his little sister ~ the QUEEN. I love this dog ~ he is truly amazing. |
