| Riley was the first Doberman to grace our home. Like most we got our first doberman from an ad in the newspaper ~ we HIGHLY recommend AGAINST that now. Nevertheless, at minimum, we were able to rescue Riley from a very bad situation - and she changed my life!! She was stoic, yet funny ~ fair, kind, and extremely sensitive ~ showed unquestionable devotion to her family. She enjoyed people of all ages, but especially children and the elderly ~ she defended her territory, home, and loved ones ... at any cost. She was incredibly intelligent ... and as a doberman, did not realize she was a dog. Her inseparable canine best-buddy was Echo, for whom Riley stayed active a bit longer ~ she was our beloved friend & protector. I can only pray the God will give me future blessings by reuniting Riley and I "after this life". "Riley~Girl, Thank you for loving unconditionally ... with such intensity, yet, incredible sweetness. I will love you until the end of MY life." ~ Mom |
