If you do not already own a camera, consider buying one to be able to document the wonderful times you will have with
your dog. His/her puppy-hood will pass by all too quickly and you will regret not having preserved some of those moments
in pictures.
Here is a list of things to help you get started in preparation for your puppy's "Homecoming" including foods,
toys and equipment. I included the things I find work great for my dogs - and this includes some of what your
puppy has been introduced to and has enjoyed. FYI: many dollars have been spent on things they are not
enjoying as much as the things on this list, so it may be a good place to start :). I also provided the places
where I like to shop for said items, as they have been consistent in decent pricing and are usually reliable in
stocking these items ~ hope this helps.
In the summer months, your dog will have other needs ...
... I will let you know what those are in future months - hard to think about sunshine this time of year :)

I will also keep you abreast of other items you may need as your puppy gets older, begins heat cycles,
reaches the age of dietary changes, begins preparation for the show ring, etc. I watch for good sales from
my favorite vendors - and will let you know if I have an opportunity for bulk purchases.

Your puppy will go home with a weeks worth of grind, but you will need to have the rest of his/her foods
purchased ahead of time so you are ready. After that time, you may purchase the grind from me on a weekly
basis, (I will bring it to you when we meet for training & ear-postings), or you can drive to Green Valley
Meats in the Auburn/Black Diamond area yourself. Since your dog will be eating a RAW/FRESH diet, you may
need additional freezer space for just your dog foods - Costco oftentimes carries a nice smaller chest
freezer for around $180.00 ~ small enough for inside house or garage yet big enough to hold dog's food.
