"There is more meaning in JOY than you will ever need."  ~ Eckhart Tolle, "A New Earth"
I have tens of thousands of photos of these "gems", so I decided to give you a peek at a few, (okay, QUITE a few), of my favorite 'group' shots.
They make me laugh ... let make me cry ... but, most of all, they fill my heart with "JOY"

"Echo"
is the most amazing dam I have ever known. She weighed 68# prior to breeding and almost 95# the
day of whelp. By x-ray she had at least 10 or 11 pups, so after 6 hours of labor, we whelped her by
C-Section. She indeed had ... TWELVE ... all black/tan pups. She made it through the surgery just
fine and awoke to immediately fall in love with all 12 of her precious babes. She nursed then
immediately and ust like her first litter, had to be forced to leave the pups just to get her to go outside
to eliminate or get up and eat. She adores her babies and dotes over them constantly. She
graciously shares the whelping box with me as my head was in it for the first 2 months of their lives.
Following the return from their ear crop trip, Echo willingly let each pup latch on, (teeth and all), and
nurse again, caudling them through the healing process. She spent every waking moment playing
with them, teaching them, and showing me just who each of them are. She reprimands those needing
guidance, kissed booboos and encouraged those who needed confidence building. HUMANS could
learn alot about parenting from Echo !!! That said with her amazing genes and that of the longevity
enriched sire's pedigree, these pups are sure to bring about alot of happiness and shared JOY !!!
Four Generations of JOY !!!
