"PIPER"
ears are standing again by 6:10pm on Saturday. The support of the Breath Rite is no where near that of the posts. And,
the Skin Bond is not easy to clean off, it does break down naturally, and water/ elements will affect its viability.
Nevertheless, I do like this method once the ears have reached a point where they will be responsive to the requirement
of self-support. This is what I like to call: "End Stage Ear Posting".
IMPORTANT
Tip #1
: Although they are less visually appealing, the Tan Breath Rite Strips seem to be stronger than the Clear strips.
Also, the generic form of Breath Rites tend to cause cutting at the ends, right into the ear. Don't try to cut
corners here, use the REAL DEAL !!!
Tip #2: Do NOT use craft cement bonding for the ears - use only medical grade bonding cement for the Skin. It is not
inexpensive, but these are chemical based and need to be used appropriately. USE Brand Name "SKIN BOND".
This is what you need. Breath Rites can be found in nearly every store or
pharmacy. Skin Bond is harder to find, but is available at many medical
supply stores AND can be purchased online.
I do NOT recommend using generic brands of EITHER product.
Have your BreathRite Strips ready when you begin ... make things MUCH
easier. Use the "Large" size. The photos above show clear strips.
I actually prefer the "Tan" strips, (below), as they are stronger.
Apply an ample amount of
Skin Bond to the inside of the ear -
(see photo above)
allow a few seconds for it to
become a bit "tacky"
Apply one Breath Rite at the low
portion of the inner ear flap
(see photo above)
and immediately ...
... apply a second Breath Rite Strip
to the top of the ear flap going all
the way to the tip.
Overlap the ends of the strip,
not doubling up on ends of strip

If you choose to use this method, do so knowing you are responsible for the outcome of the ears you post.
Katoba, nor Kathy Babbitt, will accept any responsibility for your mistakes or any other reason for undesired results in your postings.
This method has been successful for my dogs, that I have posted personally.
I offer posting services at $25.00 per Breath Rite posting; with a required re-posting every seven days until standing without fail.
I offer no guarantees for success, as I have no control over the diet, supplementation or home care you provide.
All that said, I hope this is of help to those who have asked for it.

Photo-demonstration, below, is done on the right ear.
Keep dog calm and do not allow for head-shaking until the glue has dried completely. Then ...

... "TADA" !
The results seen below speak for themselves. Piper had a gorgeous and very long crop.
The final product took several months of off-again-on-again supports,
(especially during heat cycles)...
... but it was well worth the work.
