Under the  Miss ~ eltoe
The ongoing photo journal of Katoba Dobermans' 2009 "Miss & Mister" Litter   ~   DPCA Futurity Nominated for 2010
There are only a couple of days left of the 2009 Photo Journal Event for the Miss & Mister Litter.
After that, due to dozens of email requests, I have decided to continue with this online adventure ... in SOME way ... I just have not decided WHICH way yet.
Oh, Lord ... do not say "BLOG" ... ugh :)
I can think about that later, as now I am just trying to decide how the dogs and I will ring in the New Year, since Todd has to work on New Years Eve. I decided NOT to take the
pups for a visit with him that night as I do not want to be on the road with all the crazy drivers. I am thinking we will just take it as it comes ... see what intrigues me tomorrow.
Today began very early as usual, as seen in photos below.
And then there was "Soleil" ... try as she did, she could not make the "sun" appear to dry up this awful rain ...
... that's okay ~ she DOES brighten our hearts !!
They do enjoy running together in the rain ... nd tromping through the backyard "mess".
Believe it or not, I am greatful for this day of rain ... it has loosened up the frozen ground enough so that I will be able to
get the rest of the "pipe-flood aftermath"
PROUD as can be of himself, Zzzen was King of Kitchen this morning.
He loves having his teeth brushed, so we did this first thing. He has lost nearly all of his baby
teeth and all the "big boy teeth" are coming in beautifully - huge and white and spaced correctly.
He is undoubtedly the most affectionate, sensible, focused male Doberman puppy I've ever known.
Miss America does not ALWAYS wave a pageant wave and sport a
perfect smile ... sometimes she just has to share her "morning
grumpies". Once she has been outside and been fed ...
... life is beautiful again.
Violet is patient ... sort of.
It is pouring down rain today and I would love for them to each get their 'business done' without
bringing in half the back yard with them ... or be covered in mud ... least not this morning.
So she waits her turn ...
While Cahill is downstairs watching over the puppies who are now back inside and soaking wet from their morning romp ... I am making breakfast for all of the dogs.
It takes me about 15 minutes to dish everything up and stir in their supplements ... and today, I have on-lookers.
Echo (grama), Misty (mom), and Tyler (uncle), wait "patiently" ... drooling ... while I get all the morning meal ready to serve.
The puppies and adult dogs each get the same thing, in the same portions ... except Echo, who gets a bit less now that she is older and a bit less active.
... just like your mom :)
Future Fireman
Breeze is fascinated by the fact that Zzzen lifts his leg to potty ...
... to tell the truth, I was also shocked to see this first day of leg lifting.
Tomorrow is New Years Eve.
