Under the Miss ~ eltoe

The ongoing photo journal of Katoba Dobermans' 2009 "Miss & Mister" Litter ~ DPCA Futurity Nominated for 2010

Today, it was exceptionally beautiful outside. It was VERY cold ...
but the sunshine in winter is so pretty and makes the air so clean
and crisp ... the puppies had a great time spending hours playing
hard inn the backyard. Now, one just can't complain about that at
all, right ?!? I had to re-post their ears this morning, but they did
not get the center bar tape and got slightly longer posts, forcing
them to hold the ear up even more. I have some fairly long and
lovely crops so they may take a bit of time to stand without fail,
but the end result is quite worth the work and patience required.
In addition to being stuck in a stage of mourning, the cold and flu
season is lingering over the Babbitt house. That said, the fresh
air was great for me today ... and who wouldn't want to be in the
middle of THIS fun, right !?!?

has some fun playing chase with the puppies today ~ see photos below.
Tyler is missing Logan terribly, but he never fails to be a great mentor to the youngsters. I am very proud of this dog ... and knowing the puppies are imprinting on
his playfulness, kindness, and strong character has assured me that the pups have had a solid male influence in their lives from a young age.
These pups have a wonderful time with Tyler. Erica, Soleil, and Zzzen are the most bold in their play with Tyler, Violet goes in for an occasional sneak attack,
and Breeze is happiest to watch the wild play and wait for snuggle time with her Uncle.

From generation to generation ... building strong character ... setting great examples ... solid mentoring ...
