Breeze ~ whose personality is so much like Logan's was - content, sweet, quiet, independant ...
I was in tears several times today, as I watched ~ noting how heavily Breeze had imprinted upon Logan over the past few months.
What a bittersweet blessing this is to see.

Along with the rest of us, Tyler is mourning heavily over the loss of Logan.
They were nearly inseparable, not only at home, but while at dogs shows
and traveling. Tyler, though, being the ever-reliable therapist in the house,
had to make sure he continued entertaining the puppies ...
... especially Tyler's "shadow", Zzzen.
Tyler romped and ran and let the pups find comfort in gentle nature today ...
... but he did not "smile".

Erica searched and searched, but did
not find ... her Auntie Logan.

Soleil, as well, was uncharacteristically quiet
today. Maybe they are also sad ... or maybe
they are giving me just what I need today ...
... time for quiet reflection

Other than a quick trip out to potty
today, seen here with Zzzen, Violet
stayed very near to me.

Tyler imprinted heavily on Rock as a pup.
From that, Tyler became the best mentor I could have hoped for this litter or any.
Zzzen follows Tyler everywhere and I KNOW he will become just as wonderful.
The yard is a flooded, yucky mess from the recent storms;
and even though it was raining AGAIN, (still), and quite cold ...
... Tyler gave the pups a much needed fun run & play today.

Zzzen, Soleil, and Erica are the most interactive with Tyler today.
Violet and Breeze stayed closer to me ~ they miss Logan ... and as "prima donnas", they hate rain.
