It is a dark day here at Camp Katoba ~ ~ we have lost Logan ... and the sadness, confusion & frustration shows in everyone's behavior.
|
I tried very hardd to get each of the pups to give me a lovely photo so that there would be SOME sort of goodness to the day ... but alas, nobody "wanted" their picture taken and gave me little to work with...
|
Zzzen, in contemplation-mode
|
Then, when I begged Violet to give me something ... anything for a photo ... ... THIS is what she gave.
|
Tyler is mourning ... literally. Cahill is silent and secluded - doesn't want to come upstairs. Misty and Echo, both in breed-time heat ... have not made a sound all day and remain secluded, voluntarily. It is a dark and deeply sad day in our home.
"God be with all my dogs in their time of grieving ~ pour upon them a peace and healing, over the loss of dear Logan. Touch our hearts, as well ... they hurt so selflessly ... so painfully. And please, gracious Lord ... give Logan a special sucky-baby-woobie to enjoy in Heaven ~ ~ You know how she is!"

was truly in love with the puppies from the day they were born. She would watch Misty from the other
side of the baby gates ... never intruding or barking ... just stayed anxiously waiting her inclusion.
When that day came, she was mesmerized by the little creatures that were growing and cooing and
squacking from in her kitchen. She would lay her head in their whelping box and just be still, closing
her eyes. It was beautiful. She was funny outside with them - she wanted them to chase her but did
NOT want them to catch her - haha. I will never forget the day she went to the vet office with me &
Braun for his follow up - what a great Auntie.
