These are only three puppies from the Misty x Mr. B litter still available.
While there have been many interested, none have been quite right for them ~ please take no offense if you are among those who inquired but were not selected ~
you may be right for a puppy, but not a Doberman; you may be right for a Doberman, but not a puppy; maybe it just wasn't the right match for any of these pups;
there are many scenarios ... or maybe, as I oftentimes say, "I just don't think I'm the right Breeder for you".
All will go to show homes, hopefully with experience in the venue ... or be new to it and up for an adventure of exciting unknowns.
My other hope for these pups is that they all be trained in a performance venue, (ie: obedience, agility, rally, etc), as they are each EXTREMELY smart, athletic, driven ...
and have vast potential. I am MOST PROUD of the quality of this litter and will wait patiently for the RIGHT home for each puppy.

... is the diva-princess - the 'prettiest' in the litter - she loves fun & play, but needs to be the house queen; be doted over and showered with love; is everybody's
sweetheart; never puts a foot wrong; is driven and focused ... if only I could keep THREE bitches - (this could be a quick divorce - haha).
She will be a gorgeous Champion ... & with all that focus, will be a magnificent performance partner!
Zzzen ...
... is the Casanova - he loves EVERYONE and can melts a heart like butter with those dreamy black eyes; will forever be a big lap dog; is very willing to please; he should
be strongly considered for service/therapy work; his conformation, drive, intelligence, workability & focus make this dog the TOTAL DOBERMAN.
He will be a wonderful Champion, & with that brain and his athleticism, will excel in areas of agility and obedience and service work.
Soleil ...
... is the rebound QUEEN - she has come back in full capacity ~ she is full of energy; confident & determined; is content; loves to be snuggled and held;
is extremely focused and interactive, but independant when appropriate; conformationaly, she is a standout; athletically, she never fails.
She will be a lovely Champion, & with that determination, will excel in all areas of performance.

Katoba's Mister Big

Today Todd took me to see the latest movie from the Twilight saga, "New Moon",
based on the book written by Stephanie Meyer.
How appropriate, since all the pups have been leaving their baby teeth in our flesh!
No dogs allowed. Wow ... a real DATE !!!
Beforehand, we went out for dinner - real food ... and then, back home to the wonderful dogs.
Admittedly, it was to be a great day for us ...
away from home ~ out ... in public ~ no work involved ~ with people ... on two legs :)
Unfortunately for Todd, when I have puppies,
sometimes I forget there is a full life away from my beloved Dobermans.

That said, I thought you may enjoy a few short updates on the puppies with candid pix ...

Braun is growing up to be the beautiful young man we expected to see. He is adjusting to city life quite nicely and will be
starting his puppy classes soon. He left the nest with a LOT of social confidence, so he should have a LOT of fun learning
in a group environment.. He recently attended a body building competition with his dad, (click on photo inset below far
right), where his dad took 2nd place. Braun was proud of his dad ... but, Braun hopes for purple Winners ribbons in his
own future :). I can't wait to show this dog ... he is special. p.s.. "Congrats to David on placing in his first competition!"

Katoba's Mister Wonderful

Louis started his puppy classes a few weeks ago & he is progressing nicely ~ he is amazingly beautiful - inside and out.
Clare reports that Louis is very calm & gentle with Sarah ~ as she scoots on the floor, Louis will go up & give her a quick
loving kiss, then go about his business. Josh and Louis are best buds, as expected. Dave is working hard to FEED this
pup - who eats them out of house and home :). Then there is Clare - who has the biggest job of all ... making sure the
world keeps turning correctly for the entire family. "Clare ... YOU are MY hero!!"

Katoba's Miss Muffet

Rhyme is FABULOUS. Her best friend is Sarah, but she also has a fun-alicious smooth fox terrier, named Boxer, to be
dog-buds with. She has a big homey place to live with a yard fit for canine happiness. She is the beautiful tom-boy I knew
she would be. Sarah takes her EVERYWHERE and Rhyme is coming along beautifully. I was THRILLED to see how perfect
it all is during my recent visit to East Wenatchee. Rhyme acts as though she rules the house ... not to mention Sarah's bed.
It is so cute ~ she naps curled up in between the pillows, watching tv. Spoiled ... and that makes me smile!
Sarah is a hard-working waitress at Applebee's ... take care of those who serve you, especially during holidays.

Katoba's Miss Behaving

I made the nearly 2,000 mile flight to Houston, TX with Mischief, on November 11, 2009. She did great - loving the entire
crew from cargo, to security, to parking, to the skycaps. She is confident in her new surroundings at the Richman home,
but will soon be going to live with her conformation handler & trainer (Linda and Rick George) in January 2010, where
she will stay throughout her conformation career. She will greatly miss her best buddy, Tyler, but will soon be palling
around with "Uncle Oz". Ironic that she got this name ... she is so UNlike it.

Violet is a bold & beautiful princess. She follows me around the house like a shadow & will sneak off like a lightening bolt
if there is adventure to be found. Upon returning from Texas, I found the dog-sitter, Deb, had been forced to "Macguiver"
the pen so that Violet could not climb out ... yes, she too scales the pen and is quite proud to come and show herself to
you once she is 'free'. She is very fancy and smart and loving - oh, so loving. She enjoys a massage whenever she can
get one. How could I possibly let this one go? (I sat that about all of them - hehehe). She makes me smile every day.

Erica is truly a "peach", as Todd says ! Yesterday, she spent the entire day upstairs hanging out with Todd & the big
girls. It made me melt to see her laying on the dog bed with grama-Echo ... the two red girls of Katoba ... generations
apart in age, but both absolutely radiant. THIS was s dream come true. Erica is bold and confident, strong and curvy, a
perfect melding of Echo and Mr. B, out of Misty - exactly what I hoped for in a red bitch. Erica is also very intelligent ... a
thinker ~ she may just be the girl who forces me to become involved in obedience venues. eeeewwwww. :)

Updates: The pups baby teeth are now falling out to make way for their permanent teeth, which should all be in by the time they are 7-8 months old or so.
Teething is QUITE fun??? They chew on each other more than anything else ... but are enjoying frozen peanut butter treats, chew bones, and anything they can shred.
This afternoon it was, again, ugly-gray-really raining ... it was also the scheduled 5th day ~ the re-posting everyone's ears day.
So, before cleaning and re-posting, I went outside with the babies to have some WET WINDY RAINY FUN.
And, boy, did they !

When playtime began to slow down a bit, everyone came inside and we started the re-posting process. Then, the pups went down for a nap ... and we went out on our date :)

The beauty of the fall colors is now being drowned out, (literally), by the gray skies and ugly - mildewy - stagnant rain.
That said, WINTER is right around the corner ... and snow could brighten up our spirits.
Until then, it is WONDERFUL to have these babies ... and the big kids ... to enlighten my every day!!!
