"Time" ... it is such an important factor when raising a puppy.
Rhyme went home on Sunday afternoon ... she was back first thing Monday morning for daycare at Camp Katoba, while Will was at work.
He came to pick up Rhyme at 6pm or so and they both drove nearly an hour to get back home on Monday night to sleep.
Rhyme was back first thing the next morning, (Tuesday), for another day of daycare at Camp Katoba.
This was to have been the plan - just like a child who needs daycare when their parent work,
(fortunately, I never experienced this with my children).
That Tuesday evening, Rhyme was to have been picked up that night after Will got off work, but ended up staying all night until Wednesday evening.
On Wednesday evening, Will came by to pick up Rhyme, so they could go home for a nights sleep ...
... it was clear that this was just not going to work.
In the short time Will has 'had' Rhyme, she has been here for over 48 hours and with Will less than 24 hours ...
... and that was just for a short time before the went to sleep.
There was little discussion ~ it was obvious that Will really loves her, but, he is correct in that this is not the right thing.
Regardless of the sacrifices I made to accommodate every aspect of his situation for him,
it was clearly
not the best decision for Will to have this puppy ~ he simply cannot be there for her.
Puppies take a great deal of time ... and time is something that some people have very little of.

Rhyme is magnificent ... God has a better plan for her.
Since we are all very sad - for Rhyme and for Will - further journaling and/or happy fun pictures of today would be inappropriate.
