Here are the little "helmet heads". The families are very excited to have their babies come home, and while I am thrilled for each of them, I am always sad when this time
comes. Yes, there will be less work, less clean up, less scheduled demands ... more sleep, more play time with the big kids, more one on one with MY pup(s), and did I
already say more sleep?!? :) Nevertheless, I love the babies so much that I am always deeply saddened knowing their darling little faces won't be looking up at me in the
morning, won't be jumping into my lap all through the day, won't be barking at me for their meals, and just won't be  needing me anymore.
Braun, Louis, Soleil, and Rhyme go to their new homes this week.
I fly to Texas with Mischief in November.
Violet is the newest "purple collar bitch" to become a  "Babbitt".
Erica ... who, while I knew she may be around
for awhile, may now be staying permanently as well ... just can't let this little redhead go yet.
Zzzen and Breeze will be ready to go to their new homes as soon as the
right ones come along.
Several possibilities have come for Zzzen and Breeze, but just not the "right" possibilities.
A lesson I have learned the hard way: placing a dog in a home where they are not truly prepared for the type or quality of that dog, can find a breeder "used" and a
puppy of potential can be found 'empty' and unhappy with their potential wasted. I just cannot knowingly put myself in that position again. "Breeding" is far more than just
"making puppies" and I feel I owe it to the breeding and to the multil-level investment of all involved to do the best I can with what is produced ... and this is greatly
affected by the puppies 'placement'.
These pups are both driven and active - they need homes willing to train and compete in obedience &/or agility ... as well as those who will be strongly dedicated to
having them shown to their Championship finishes in order to give dignity and validation to the breeding intention. They each look to have a great deal to offer to the
Breed of Doberman and I plan to see them both contribute to my developing line in the future.
Conformation competition has an 'end' to it's commitment, so to speak ~ one they become a Champion of Record, unless they are Specialed, it is "done" ... over. The
performance rings, on the other hand, can be more a way of life, as those who are involved already know.
It requires commitment to training and a love for the sport(s) ... and desire to keep your dog happy and training.
These are some beautiful, fancy, driven, playful, WONDERFUL puppies ...
i have been blessed with a perfect match for each of the other pups thus far ...  and I look forward to finding just the right people for Breeze and Zzzen, as well.
Serious inquiries - for conformation & performance placements - are welcome for both these pups.
Today, due to VERY heavy rains, thunder/lightening, backyard flooding ... with freshly cropped wears ... we were only able to get a quick shoot of each puppy, (below).
It continually amazes me how beautiful they are - even though the stack photos days have all been compromised by "something".
The bone, the angles, the necks, the toplines & tailsets ... they are simply beauitful little "creatures" :)
