Soleil & Braun went to their new homes last night - it was a LONG night knowing they are gone ... anticipation of awaking to the beautiful puppy pen and not see those four
gorgeous eyes. Due to a family issue, the Pelton's couldn't pick up Louis , but will be able to soon. YAY for me, though ... more time with Louis!
Tears, tears and more tears. My little yellow collar she-devil and the big blue miracle ... off to become part of the rest of the world.
Their families are excited and that warms my heart ... does not make it any easier. As I sign the registrations, it is bittersweet right of passage for all of us ...
... I call it my cutting of the umbilical cord. I love them all so much.
I send each puppy home with a TREMENDOUS amount of confidence ... AND, information - the NECESSITIES of puppy life fare clearly written out.
If anybody chooses to deviate from the "proven plan" they can and will create a problem ~ their problem, AND that of their dog.
Message of the day: Remember, this is not rocket science, it is a dog -
~ WAY more important, but, MUCH less complicated ... IF you follow the LEAD of the breeder who KNOWS your dog better than anyone can.
