As you can see from the photo, the puppies have moved into the puppy-pen with a few fun
mini-agiiity items. I am not happy with the size of the pen, so there will be a
"remode/expansion" soon. They continue to grow and play and learn ... I am enjoying them
so much. And, today I am celebrating ECHO (the grand-dam) ~ I dedicate the dinner
gathering we are having to her ...  with SIX of Echo's get and NINE of Echo's grand-get here.
We also celebrate Misty ... one of Echo's get, as the nine grand-get are Misty's get. Are you
confused enough yet? :). I was hoping for sunshine so all would have a great time playing
outside with her. Alas, we do live in Washington ... so, as par for the course, the ugliness of
gray sky and rain is upon us. The only bright light coming from the sky today is lightening.
At least the inside of the house will be filled with sunshine!
11pm: Misty lays down and lets the
pig-pile occur. They nursed only
until they were about ready to fall
asleep, then they went to bed in
their pen. These are great pups ~
very social with humans, curious
and not afraid of the big dogs, and
they are in love with their mother.
While it has its moments of
excessive work & stresses ... It is
always a beautiful experience.
I got so busy and was enjoying the Becker's company so much, that I did not have time for any
photos. The weather was so bad the dogs did not even get to inter-exchange play times outside. The
back yard was for potty breaks only - and a couple who decided to "swim". A few even got stuck in a
lightening storm before they could get done and back in. The pups got their last dinner at 10pm -
chicken backs - so I took some pix at that time. You cannot truly appreciate the humor involed in
watching the "chicken back meal", unless you're actually in the room! It's a riot.
Photos below, of the "big kids" who were here, are the only other ones I took today ... wow, I am
slipping!!
