All the other dogs have become very curious about the "choir in the kitchen". Logan has made a mad dash to see the pups twice now - she is so excited. Her
tail could not wag faster, but she was "told" - by Misty - and now she is respectful of Misty's "stay the heck out" rules. Echo saw them, kissed Misty and now
could care less about the babes - almost looked like she was laughing at the Moo. Figures! Tyler is fascinated - I see him being the biddy the mentor - like
Rock ... but, that was expected. Cahill is too strong and quick to even allow him to go closer than the gate to peak - he will be introduced next week but he is
WAY too excited about them right now - I think he will give Braun someone to play with soon!! Nobody understands why the kitchen and breakfast room are
"off limits" for a while ... after all ~ there is food, fun, and now ... there are PUPPIES in there!!!

Misty is finally getting out of the whelping box when the pups are asleep ... she is back to running and stretching and playing with Logan, Tyler and Echo.
Cahill is WAY to anxious to play with Misty and since he is so strong, we are giving it a few more days for her to build up her stamina before they play together.
They have always been "best buddies" ~ he has missed playing with her over the past couple months. While "The Moo" is out of the "Boo Box", she is still on
guard with ears perked each time she hears a peep. She can hear them from outside across the yard - amazing. Funny how nature works when we leave it
alone. As soon as she is back in, each pup gets a bath and potty-time, and then she gets right to the feeding, snuggling, and talking to them - it is a beautiful
thing to see. Misty is a real "neat freak" - she has always liked a tidy room, her blankets in the living room to be folded and neat, doesn't like ANYTHING
"messy". Giving birth has not changed that - it took 5 days before I new that the puppies actually DID poop :). Those who know how messy this can be can
appreciate the fact that this was a real challenge for her. The babes are growing like weeds. Tomorrow I will post weights.
