"Got Milk ?"
"Snack Bar"
We are continuing with the Early Neurological Stimulation exercises, (biosensor program). Each puppy is responding exactly as I had hoped. Each got a new
ribbon today and had their nails trimmed. WOW - they can yell ! They all kicked and screamed for the full 30 seconds it took to rid the wipe newborn tips from
their feet ... but this time, nobody in this litter pooped on me - GOOD BABIES !!!! The joy was seeing their quick recovery back to calmness followed by
scooting around the whelping box within seconds of the Dremmel being turned off. I think I may have a bunch of "thespians" on my hands. :) Their weight is
increasing nicely every day, especially now that Misty is toting the biggest "Milk Bar" I have truly ever seen.
I continue to be amazed by her mothering skills - she is so much like her dam was ... maybe even more sensible and intuitive, but still just as attentive, loving,
and dutiful. She appears to be taking better care of herself than her dam did - which is very important for the body and mind I think. My personal litter
journals are becoming quite detailed with notes about each pup - there is so much you can really see at this age - I learned that from great mentors from my
last litter. There will be a few girls still to find homes for, but the families who are already getting a puppy are growing more and more excited. Video clips will
post to YouTube later in the week ... they will be of the pups doing what pups do at this age - eat ... sleep ... eat ... sleep.
