| This photo Journal event would not have been complete without a step into the New Year's weekend ... ... so, I am introducing the puppies as they enter the New Year at exactly 5 months of age ... ... a wonderful introduction to 2010. God Bless all these Katoba Doberman pups and Blessings be to their families as well. I love you all and am very proud of the great work you have done with the pups ... ... I believe it is a big responsibility, and therefore a strong show of integrity in all those who are true to the placement expectations. My continued gratitude and joy goes out to my devoted families. | "The Girls" Sarah and Rhyme came for an overnight visit. I was THRILLED to see what a wonderful job Sarah is doing with her first owner-handler Doberman. They are a focused team - and they adore each other equally. Sarah is training Rhyme just as she should ... making sure she is socialized heavily and appropriately. Rhyme made herself right at home - visiting Todd's studio room as well as letting everyone know JUST where she would be napping ... in the guest room ~ on TOP of the pillow pile, (see below). Rhyme is as confident as ever, and had a GREAT time playing with not only her littermates, but the BIG DOGS, as well ... including Cahill. After Rhyme's very long day of travel and play with everyone, she marched up the stairs, down the hall, and into the guestroom ... then she laid down in her crate and was out like a light ~ not another sound until 7am today. She is still an outstanding mover - down, back and around ... and is getting the freestack down beautifully ... good work, Sarah! Rhyme is truly a WWF contender when it comes to the Dremeling of the nails, but Sarah has remained dilligent and Rhyme's feet look GREAT. Sarah has also been doing all of Rhyme's earcare & posting since she took her home ... and those ears look GREAT. It was so awesome to spend this time with "the girls". |

| "Louis, Louis, Louis, Louis ... " This is a wonderful pup ... he has an wonderful family ... we are all wonderfully happy about him. As Louis prepares for his upcoming conformation debut, he is kept in great shape with proper exercise; he thrives on a raw and real foods dietary plan. Louis is heavy boned and is quite substantial at well over 50 pounds. He has a full mouth , tight cat feet, and rich brown eyes. Speaking of feet, Dave Pelton has been in charge of the toenails dremelling - Louis' feet look great ~ Way to go Dave :) Louis is already working on his therapy jobs ~ he can already retrieve a tennis ball & return it to his little girls lap. I love this very smart ... very sweet ... ever so handsome dog. |
